Alfred E. Helfferich

Beloved husband of 68 years to Patricia Helfferich (nee Fessel). Their marriage was a shining example of everlasting love and devotion. Dear son of the late Alfred V. Helfferich and the late Caroline Helfferich (nee Weinmann). Devoted father of Karen (Dale) Menkhaus, Mark (Karen) Helfferich and the late Michael Helfferich. Father-in-law of Debby Helfferich. Cherished grandfather of Renee (Tim) Bajorek, Tricia Leisgang, Aaron (Brooke) Helfferich, Nick (Meredith) Helfferich, Ashley (Matt) Cathcart, Tyler Helfferich, Rachel Helfferich, Nathan (Mackenzie) Helfferich, Anne Menkhaus, Joe Menkhaus, Jeanne Wardwell and Jim (Sara) Menkhaus. Loving great-grandfather of John and Marcella Wegford, Oaklee and Emerson Cathcart, Heidi and Nolan Helfferich, Alex, Evan, Drew and Hannah Bajorek, Heather and Hunter Wardwell and Olivia Menkhaus. Adored brother of Helen Kabbes. 

Alfred proudly served in the US Army. He was a retired painter after owning his own business in the Cincinnati area for many years. He spent much of his leisure time outdoors as some of his favorite hobbies were fishing, golfing, hunting and snowmobiling. He could also grill a perfect steak or burger!

Passed away Monday, January 31^, 2022. Age 91 years.

Family and friends are invited to a Visitation 9:30 – 10:30am on Tuesday, February 8^th at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish (3450 Lumardo Ave). Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30.
