Alonzo "Lonnie" O. Lynch

Alonzo O. Lynch, (Lonnie) of Cincinnati, OH passed peacefully at the age of 86 after a long and terrible battle with Alzheimer’s. He was born on March 29, 1935, in Maulden KY to Myrtle and O. Clayton Lynch. He lived in Tyner, Kentucky on his family’s farm before moving to Cincinnati at age 17.

Lonnie was a pressman for the Standard Publishing Company for over 43 years. It was at Standard Publishing where he met his future wife, Joyce Frank. They shared 57 years of marriage before her passing in November of 2011.

He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was hard working, caring and would help anyone in need. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, camping, lottery tickets and going to the casino in Indiana.

He was the dear husband of the late Joyce Lynch (nee Frank). Beloved father of Brenda (the late Neil) Callahan, Barbara Huffman, Douglas (Tess) Lynch and Kimberly (Michael) Breitenbach. Loving grandfather of 11 grandchildren, Matthew (Brie) Callahan, Ryan Callahan, Maggie Robertson (Ryan), Andrew Martin (Jenna), Jeremy Breitenbach, Mary Wiess (Leah), Emily Wanstrath (Joe), Ellen Huffman, Kevin Breitenbach (Stephanie) Abby Huffman and Patrick Breitenbach , 14 great grandchildren and twin boys due on December 10. Cherished brother of the late Mabel Howard, the late Juanita Grear, Pete (Judy) Lynch and Bill (Dian) Lynch and brother-in-law Bob Grear (Pam). Survived also by loving in laws Donald and Mary Ann, Ceil, Adrienne, Marge, Nancy, Kay Kleinholz, Judy and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a Visitation on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home (2880 Boudinot Ave) from 10:00am until time of Funeral Service at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at St. Joe New Cemetery.
