MOTCH Arthur Eugene Jr., beloved husband of Marjorie Motch passed away on April 27, 2005. Mr. Motch retired as Chairman of the R. A. Jones Co. Inc. after being an officer of the company for over 60 years. He was also Chairman of Motch Incorporated and The Motch Jewelers in Covington, KY, founded by his grandfather in 1857. He was involved in numerous civic and philanthropic activities and had served as a director of several companies. Mr. Motch belonged to the Cincinnati Country Club, Queen City Club, Optimist Club, and was a founding member of Coldstream Country Club. Mr. Motch and his late wife of 61 years, Margaret Lester Motch, are survived by their five children David W. Motch and his wife Vicky, Arthur E. Motch III and his wife Maria, Diana T. Dwight and her husband Timothy, Olivia DeB. Motch of Cincinnati, Ohio and Alan W. Motch and his wife Amy of Boston, MA. They are also survived by their nine grandchildren, Lidney Motch and her husband Matthew Luczkow of Boston, Arthur Motch IV and his wife Katrina of New York, NY, Michael Motch and his wife Susan, Tsewang Choden, Addison, Alistair and Eva Motch, Jonathan and Christopher Dwight of Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Motch is also survived by five step children, Marjorie Motch's children Margo Yesner of Philadelphia and Kathryn Summers of Santa Monica, CA, and the children of the late Winifred Booker Motch, Dr. Thomas Carothers, S. Cole Carothers and Lisa Morgan. Services to be held at Seventh Presbyterian Church, 1721 Madison Road at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 30th. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Seven Hills Schools, 5400 Red Bank Road, 45227-1122 and The Fine Arts Fund, 2649 Erie Ave. 45208-2019, or the charity of your choice.
