Athena Christakos. Beloved wife of the late Jim Christakos. Loving mother of Christos and George (Vicki) Christakos and the late Diane Kist. Cherished Yia Yia of Karen (Phillip) Lee, Patricia Kist, Jim (Angela) Kist, Lauren Christakos, Maureen (Ben) Rubin-Christakos, Cori (Ed) Arens and James Christakos. Great grandmother of Shelbi & Mackenzie Arens, Charlie & Carson Lee and Jaxon Kist. Athena and her late husband Jim were former owners of Arnold's Bar and Grill, Cincinnati's oldest bar establishment. She passed peacefully on Sunday November 11, 2012 age 89. Friends are invited to a visitation Wednesday evening from 5-8 PM with a prayer service at 6 PM at the Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home 2880 Boudinot at Queen City Avenue with a service Thursday 10 AM at Holy Trinity St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church 7000 Winton Rd.
