Carol Lee (Grosscup,Linscott) Lohman, 88 passed away peacefully on February 9th, 2025 at The Oaks at Northpointe in Zanesville, Ohio
Carol was born in Zanesville, Ohio in 1936 to the late Lawrence and Thelma Grosscup. She was the last of her 7 siblings to go be with The Lord.
Carol was part of the very first class to graduate from the first Zanesville High school built on Blue Avenue in 1954.
Carol had 5 children. Larry Linscott was her oldest and just recently passed away on January 2, 2025. Rhod (Gayla) Carder, Russ(Debbie) Carder, Kelly Linscott and George (Tammy) Linscott and 1 step daughter Shelia (Eric) Kluesener. Carol had 18 grandkids, 18 great grandkids and 2 great, great grandkids.
Carol moved to Cincinnati in 1982 and worked in housekeeping at the local hospitals.
Carol stood strong in her faith in God The Father and was faithful in her prayers for her family and friends. Carol attended Friendship Baptist Church.
Carol was proceeded in death by George Linscott Sr and Richard Lohman
Family and friends are invited to a visitation Monday February 17th, from 11:30 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM, all at Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home, 2880 Boudinot Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45238. Carol will be laid to rest at Arlington Memorial Gardens on Compton Road.
