Charles Wesley Fryer

Charles Wesley Fryer was beloved husband of Olga Byrne Fryer. He passed away Saturday, April 17, 2004, at Christ Hospital. He was the son of the late Clarence and Mary Ellen Fryer and was born May 8, 1923, in Lebanon, OH. He was a Miami University graduate and a veteran of World War II, where he was a navigator in 484th Bomb Group of the Army Air Force stationed in Italy. In Cincinnati, he worked in the travel industry and later in education with the Cincinnati Public Schools. Being widely traveled, he became a member of the World Affairs Council, The Cincinnati Club Travelers, The Travel Club of Cincinnati and The English Speaking Union. Some of his other interests included The MacDowell Society and The Cincinnati Symphony. Memorial service Sunday, 4-25-04, at 3:30 PM in the chapel of Covenant First Presbyterian Church. Visitation at the Church from 2:30 PM until time of Memorial Service. If desired, memorials may be made Covenant First Presbyterian Church, 717 Elm St., 45202, or the charity of choice.
