Charles R. Turner

Charles R., better known as “Bob” Turner, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2024 at the age of 97. Devoted husband of 39 years to the late Margaret “Peg” Turner and loving husband of 21 years to the late Margaret (Davison) Turner. Loving father of Chuck (Jeannie) Turner, David (Chris) Turner, Margaret (Jeff) McLean, Sarah (Jeff) Heidemann, Amy (Garry Bombard Jr.) Turner, Brandon (Elizabeth) Turner and the late Jim (Gina) Turner. Cherished grandfather of Beth (Tony) Davis, Ashley (Marc) Walsh, Erin (Shawn Scott) Turner, Maggie (David) Rowland, Michael (Jynni) Turner, Kelly (Jarrott) Hogg, Tracy & Jacob Turner, Katie (Chad Cowan) McLean, Drew (Daryn Penoyar) McLean, Rhiannon (Nathan Chiles) Zito, Wyatt, Jackson & Garrett Turner and great-grandfather of Megan Towles, Shelby Grace Towles, Dayne Turner Towels, Daniel & Darius Roland, Hazel, Lana & Logan Turner. Great-great grandfather of Charlie Paige Horton.

Bob had a wonderful career with Western & Southern Insurance and had a lifelong passion for golf. He and Peg were longtime members of St. John Westminster Union Church.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation Thursday January 2nd from 11 AM until time of funeral service at 1 PM, at St. John Westminster Union Church, 1085 Neeb Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45233. He will be laid to rest beside his wife at Spring Grove Cemetery. Dalbert Woodruff and Isenogle Funeral Home serving the family.
