Clyde Edward Morris

Clyde Edward Morris (Aka Stumpy to those who knew him well) passed away August 15, 2021 at the age of 79. He was an Adored Father of Andrea (Butch), Jon (Shelly), Matt (Tammi), Craig (Amanda), Heather (Tom). We sure were lucky to call him Dad. An exceptional “PaPa” to Andrew, Isabella, Cecilia, Jacob, Lillie, Cohen, Charlotte, Mia, Addison and Emmerson. Son of the late Clyde and Zula Morris. Favorite brother to Joyce (Phil), the late Chetty, the Late Trisha, Henrietta (the late Barney), Virginia (the late Joe), and Lois (Tom). He was also survived by numerous loving and caring Nieces and Nephews. The “best boss”, Mentor, and friend to Vicki Monahan (Marc, Sammy, Sara). And cherished friend to many.

He was a hardworking man who built a business that he was devoted to until the end. He blessed so many people he loved. Those who knew Ed well, knew his deep love for his children and grandchildren. His world revolved around them. All he wanted was for those he loved to live a good life and be happy. He sure could talk your ear off…the gift of gab as he always said. He instilled in his children that “honesty was the best policy”, “to try your best”, always encouraged his children “to be brave in life”, and to always “believe in themselves”. Most of all he never hesitated to let us know how much he loved us. We will dearly miss his stories, phone calls, fishing, his cheering on the sidelines, and time with him. As Ed always said, “Get back to work!”

Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation from 12 PM to 2 PM Saturday August 21st, followed by a 2 PM Blessing Service, all at the Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home, 2880 Boudinot Ave., 45238.
