Cynthia "Cindy" Fazio

Cynthia A. "Cindy" Fazio passed peacefully on April 14th 2022.  Cindy was the loving daughter of Rose (nee Perrino) and the late Sebastian Fazio.  Devoted sister of Deborah (Jim) Fazio-Carroll.  Beloved aunt of Andrea, David (Elizabeth) Carroll and Michael Carroll. Cherished great-aunt of Carson Carroll, Caroline Carroll. 

Cindy was a practicing attorney for 33 years and a Senior Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in the Civil Division of the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office.  Cindy turned her legal experience into a wealth of guidance for St. X students in the Mock Trial program.  In 1989 she began as a legal advisor for the Mock Trial Program and in 2000 she was the first attorney to be awarded the Lori Urogdy Eiler Award for Coaching Excellence in Mock Trial by the Ohio Center for Law Related Education. Cindy has also been a lecturer on law at the University of Cincinnati College of Law teaching courses in corporate tax and professional responsibility.  In addition to her volunteer work at St. X, Cindy has volunteered at the Hospice of Cincinnati Gourmet Sensation event and previously served on the Supreme Court of Ohio Board of Commissioners on Greivances and Discipline.  She also has lectured on various tax topics and has been a contributing author in the field of probate law.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation Friday April 22, 2022 from 5 pm until 8 pm at the Dalbert Woodruff and Isenogle Funeral Home 2880 Boudinot Avenue and a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday April 23, 2022, 10:30 am Mass at Saint Francis Xavier Church 611 Sycamore Street Cincinnati, Ohio 45202.  She will be laid to rest at Saint Joseph (new) Cemetery. 

For family and friends that can not attend in person, starting at 10:30am the Mass will   LIVESTREAM

Instead of flowers, the family would appreciate that memorial donations be made in memory of Cindy to St. Xavier High School.
