Donald L Rottert

Donald “Sam” Louis Rottert, 85 of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on July 30, 2015.

Donald is survived by his loving wife, Laura (nee May) of 44 years and proud father of son Steve (Sharon) Rottert, daughter Nanita (Darrell) Ramsey, daughter Pamela (Greg) Simonson, daughter Janet (Bill) Koshover, son Donald Rottert and 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Anna Rottert. Donald was one of eleven children.

Donald was retired from the Fisher Body/General Motors, Norwood, Ohio.

He was a very active and well respected member of the Cincinnati Masonic Community and was a member of Lodge #140. He received many achievement awards and recognition awards over the years, but most important to him was KYCH.

He served his country during the Korean war and loved his sports, especially his Cincinnati Reds.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 3rd from 4-8 PM with a Masonic service at 7 PM at the Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home 2880 Boudinot Ave, Cincinnati, Oh 45238. Prayer service will be held on August 4th at 11 AM at the funeral home. Donald will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Memorial Park in the Veterans Garden, 11825 Pippin Rd. Cincinnati, Oh 45231
