Edward B. Lunsford, passed in the care of his loving family on August 5, 2022, he was 98. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy L. (nee Hildebrand) Lunsford. Devoted father of the late Bonnie K. Lunsford, Mary E. (Robert) Rouse and Geraldine L. (Keith) Koch. Dear grandfather of Edward (Renee) Colwell, the late Matthew Colwell, Dorothy (Kevin) Kelley, Rebecca (Joseph) Hieber, the late Tracy Rouse, Robert (Shannon) Rouse, Rachel Rouse, Jason (Stephanie) Rouse, Tyler Koch and Craig Koch.
Great grandfather of Elliott Colwell, Deanna Adelhardt, Emily Colwell, Kevin Kelley, Krystal Bertke, Katelyn Kelley-Porter, Sara Brown, Justin Hieber, Joseph T. Hieber, Cody Rouse, Levi Wolf, Megan Morris, Chad Wolf, Elizabeth Wolf, Hannah Rouse, Brooke Rouse, Robert Rouse, Austin Rouse, Robert Z. Rouse, Becky Kramer, Sofia Rouse, Jose (Sam) Rouse, Aby Rouse, Mady Rouse, Lillie Rouse, Chase Rouse and Nathan Rouse.

He was a cherished Uncle.
Additionally preceded in death by many he so loved among them his mother Mattie Lunsford, his father Henry Lunsford, sisters: Sarah Lunsford, Mellwood Helsley, Mary Thomas, Elva Lois Kallaher, Geraldine Andrews, brothers: Theophilus Lunsford and Virgil Lunsford, his grandchild Donna Kay and great grandchildren Ashley Rouse, Aubrey Rouse, Jaycie Rouse, William Colwell, Austin Rouse Jr., Elijah Rouse, his dear friend Margaret Kennedy and other friends and family too numerous to list.
Longtime member of the former Price Hill United Methodist Church, current member of Cheviot United Methodist. Bravely served his country during WWII as a US Merchant Marine & US Army Staff Sergeant 33rd division (Philippines & Japan). Retired Cincinnati Police Sergeant. Very active in all Masonic Bodies, 67 year member of Yeatman #162 F&AM, Norwood Chapter #193 RAM & Hubert O. Auburn Council #149 RSM, Hanselmann Commandery #16, Knights Templar, Recipient of the Knight York Cross of Honor, member of Syrian Shrine & Scottish Rite.
He touched so many lives whether as family, friend, mentor, or fraternity brother he cared about all and helped whenever needed. He was shining example of a truly good man.
Family and friends are invited to a Visitation from 5 pm on Monday, August 15 until FOP Service starting at 7:30 pm, followed by Masonic Service & Scottish Rite Ring Ceremony. Funeral Service 10 am on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. All services will be held at Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home (2880 Boudinot Ave.)
