Edward Yuska was born April 20, 1952, in Illinois, and passed away peacefully on November 18, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and generosity. Ed was the beloved son of Lorraine and Peter Yuska, and a cherished brother to his four brothers, Pete, Chuck, John, Mike and sister, Laura.
Growing up, Ed was full of life and mischief. His sister, ever watchful, looked after him while he ran around with his brothers, creating countless memories and adventures. Known for his infectious sense of humor and kind heart, Ed was a jokester who never met a stranger. He was a free spirit, always eager to lend a hand and offer support to those in need.
As a skilled bricklayer by trade, Ed took pride in his work, but it was his love for the outdoors that truly defined him. When he wasn’t working, he could be found fishing and hunting, enjoying the peace and tranquility of nature. Despite his quiet demeanor, he was fiercely loyal to his family and friends, always there when they needed him.
Ed was especially fond of his many nieces and nephews. He took great joy in bringing little surprises to family gatherings, whether it was a bunny or a handful of chicks, delighting the children with his playful spirit. His love for his family knew no bounds, and his kindness and warmth will forever be remembered.
Preceded in death by his parents, Lorraine and Peter Yuska, and his oldest brother, Pete "Butch" Yuska, Ed was welcomed into heaven with open arms by his loved ones, now reunited in eternal peace. Heaven has gained a beautiful soul, and Ed’s family finds comfort in knowing he is in good company.
Ed leaves behind his siblings Laura, Chuck, John and Mike, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends who will miss him deeply. He will always be remembered for his kindness, his laughter, and the light he brought to everyone he knew. Rest in peace, Ed. You will forever be in our hearts.
