Elizabeth C Triplett

Elizabeth “Betts” V. (nee Chance), 103, joined the Church Triumphant on October 31, 2014.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Shewell R. Triplett, her brother Elmer M. Chance and her niece Carol L. (nee Newton) Chance.  She is survived by her nephew, Marion “Mike” S. Chance; three great nieces Diane C. Hawkins, Arlene C. (Brett) Wade, Julie C. (Francis) Szovati; three great-great nephews Jonathan Hawkins, Kevin Wade, Andrew Szovati; three great-great nieces Jessica Hawkins, Lauren Wade, Stephanie Szovati and close friends.  She will be remembered for her warm smile and quick step, her love of music and baseball, her beautiful hooked rugs and knitted sweaters and blankets which she generously shared, her devotion to her family and its history, and her faith in God.  Her life was well spent.  A memorial service will be held November 22, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Westwood First Presbyterian Church, 3011 Harrison Avenue, Cincinnati.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Organ Fund or the Willis Beckett Music Fund both of Westwood First Presbyterian Church, the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
