Frederick T. "Mark" Jacobs

Frederick Thomas "Mark" Jacobs, a devoted husband and father, passed away on November 9, 2024 in Lanexa, Virginia at the age of 83. Born on October 27, 1941, Frederick devoted much of his life to service, exemplifying commitment both in military duty and to his family.

A proud veteran, Mark retired after over 20 years of active service in United States Navy, where his bravery and dedication to his country were particularly evident during the Vietnam War. His exemplary service earned him more than 15 ribbons and medals of commendation, service, and conduct, reflecting his steadfast commitment to his nation and his fellow service members.

Mark is survived by his loving wife, Diane (nee Ritz) Jacobs, and his cherished daughter, Michelle Barnes. His family will deeply miss his presence, love, and the values he instilled in them throughout his life.

The visitation for Frederick will take place on Monday, November 18, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home located at 2880 Boudinot Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio. Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, starting at 11:30 AM, at 11000 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, Ohio.

Mark will be remembered not only for his service to his country but also for his unwavering love and dedication to his family. He leaves behind a legacy of honor, integrity, and affection that will continue to inspire those who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Mark's honor be made to the Tunnels To Towers Foundation.
