Georgia Schmidt

Schmidt, Georgia (nee Metcalf), of Cheviot, born on November 19, 1919 to Perry and Elizabeth Metcalf,died December 27, 2012 in Cincinnati at the age of 93. Survived by her four children - Stanley (Joyce), Dennis, Christina (Alan), and Kathryn (Robert); six grandchildren - Jennifer (Joseph), Matthew (Chrystal), Victoria (Daniel), Valerie, Christopher, and Daniel; three great-grandchildren - Chandler, Lauren, and Owen, and many other family and friends. She taught us all how high a priority family should be, and that family isn't always restricted to the people you're born to. She showed us the importance of always being honest and true to ourselves. Most importantly, she taught us that something broken can nearly always be fixed, that it does not always need replacing, and that this holds true for both material things and relationships. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 3rd from 12.30pm-2.30pm at Dalbert, Woodruff and Isenogle Funeral Home, 2880 Boudinot Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45238 with a memorial service at 2:30pm followed by her interment at Spring Grove Cemetery.
