Gregory "Greg" Whitson

Gregory (Greg) Whitson was tragically taken from us on February 10, 2010 by a car accident on I-71 traveling from Columbus back to Cincinnati after purchasing a van. The car he was in was hit by a tractor-trailer.

Beloved husband of Cheri Whitson. Devoted step-father to Amie and Gavin Moore, Sheena Acree, Ryan Acree and Valeri Roos. Loving brother to Howard Whitson, loving brother-in-law to Diana Whitson. Grandfather to Logan Shea, Gavin Moore Jr, Serenity, Devin, Austin and Alexis Moore, Bryce Downing. Uncle to Wes and Rachel Whitson, Rachel Allen and Jennifer and David Long. Great-uncle to Haley, Lillian and Blake Allen, Merrick and Annike Whitson and Brady Long. Nephew to Howard and the late Charlene Whitson and Ralph Doth, Evelyn Doth. Cousin of Sharon Whitson and Michelle & Nick Terry. Son of the late Jerry and Lillian (Doth) Whitson. Beloved friend to John Sievers (Colt), Mike Wilkins (Bubba) and Lori McDaniels...and many others.

Greg was a great man. He loved to have fun and make jokes. Most people will remember him smiling with a beer in his hand. He loved to hang out at the Eagles in Cheviot and Maloney's in Delhi. You would be able to find him at Maloney's every Saturday morning eating with Cheri, his uncle Howard, his brother Howie and Russ.

Greg enjoyed watching movies and listening to music. He loved to go on bike rides and bike runs.

Greg will be truly missed by everyone. No one will ever know why this happened. All we can do is cherish all of our memories we have with Greg. We all love you, Greg. Rest peacefully in your Father's arms.

The visitation will be Wednesday 2/17 from 11-1. Funeral service immediately following the visitation and service at the cemetery. Family and friends are invited to go to Maloney's on Greenwell in Delhi after the cemetery.
