Helen E. Greene

Greene, Helen E. age 79, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2006, after a 15 year courageous battle with cancer. Helen moved to Pensacola,Fl. following the death of Earl, her husband of 35 years. Helen loved her family and enjoyed sharing stories about her children with her friends and co-workers at the St. Vincent DePaul thrift store, where she volunteered for over 7 years. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Earl and daughter Donna Post. She is survived by daughter Pat (Ed) Holtman, sons Bob (Harriet) Greene and Dan (Selina) Greene, brothers Jim Meinhardt and Fred (Edie) Meinhardt, and 10 grandchildren. A visitation will be held Wednesday from 6-8 PM and a Blessing Service Thursday 10 AM at the Dalbert, Woodruff and Isenogle Funeral Home 2880 Boudinot Ave. at Queen City Ave. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband Earl. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Covenant Hospice Care Center for their continuous and genuine love, and for adding life to days when she had only a short number of days left to live.
