BECKNELL, Homer E., beloved husband of the late Doris A. Becknell (nee Nicholls), devoted father of Roger and Michael Becknell, Barbara Young and Beverly Marsh, loving grandfather of eleven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, dear brother of Clifford, Eugene and Clinton Becknell, Beulah Smith, Morris Brewer and Ruth Combs. Saturday, March 8, 2003. Age 78 years. Funeral service held at the convenience of the family. No Visitation. If desired, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
