J. Donald, beloved husband for 66 years of Ruth (nee Ray). Born January 12, 1925 in Lawrence County IN, & died May 30, 2013. Founding partner of Maxfield, Edwards & Backer Consulting Engineers, Covington KY (now KHL Engineers). Served in World War II with the 20th Armored Division-the "Liberators of Dachau". Survivors include Douglas (Regina), Grant-Wichita KS, Mark (Mary Janet), and Thomas (Kathe), Marlene Mansker (Rod)-Corona AZ, grandchildren Holly Edwards, Kelly Cape (Ian), April Edwards & Benjamin Edwards & step-grandchildren Sarah Kagrise & Dana Kagrise, great-grandchild Harrison Cape, one sister Norma Rogers-Tucker GA. Visitation 11 AM Monday followed by a 1 PM Funeral Service at the Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home, 2880 Boudinot Ave., 45238.
