Jeremy Edwin Bowman left this earth unexpectedly in the care of his loving family on December 27, 2020; he was 43. Devoted husband and best friend of Kelsie (Dabbelt) Bowman. Beloved son of Mattie Ann (Ann) and William (Bill) Bowman. Loyal brother of Robin Ann Reitz, Shelly Jane Waltz, Kristie Bowman (Tim) Napier, and Brandon Howard Bowman. Fun uncle of Ian, Trey, Abi, Jacob, Luke, Mattie Ann, Aaron, Jonah, and Annie. He is preceded in death by his sister, Becky Sue Bowman and his grandparents, Ruth Jane and Howard Bowman and Gladys Louise and Byron Ouzts.
Jeremy never knew a stranger; he made everyone feel like the most important person in the room. No one could ever escape his corny jokes or the fearless way he belted out 80’s rock ballads. His favorite place to be was on his porch with Kelsie and Coach watching the Reds, Bengals, or Bearcats. Whenever and wherever he was with Kelsie, he always felt at home. His parents were relentless cheerleaders and steadfast supporters his whole life through, fishing on Lake Cumberland with his dad, Bill, and near hero level admiration of his mom, Ann. The Bowman Bunch of siblings, R S K B J, was fiercely loyal, notoriously tight knit, and beloved by their baby brother. Brandon, most especially, was his confidant, best pal, secret keeper, and touchstone. He made each of his nieces and nephews laugh out loud at his in-the-best-way-inappropriate brand of humor -and those jokes will live on because of them. Although a legend in the Cincinnati bar and restaurant scene, his friends, customers, and business partners only knew him as one of the good ones--open arms and smiling face every time someone entered one of his establishments. At the end of life, we should all be so lucky to be as beloved as JEB.
Due to the current COVID restrictions, his family will hold a private funeral. It is our deep hope that at a later date, when it is safe, his friends and admirers will show up, raise a toast, and tell a corny joke to celebrate and honor a life too short but so well lived.
