John Pennington

PENNINGTON John Edward, 71, beloved husband of Alma (nee Meyer) and the late Norma Jean Pennington, passed peacefully at home February 20, 2010, surrounded by family and friends. He is loving father of Mark Pennington (Matt) Jose, the late Jonna, and Tony Pennington. Step father to James and Lyla (Pat) Rich, and Dorothy (Buddy) Swaggerty. He was preceded in death by his parents Homer and Kitty Pennington, and brother Robert Pennington. He is survived by sister-in law Evaleen, niece Candice, and nephews Robert Jr. and Christopher Pennington. He was also a friend and inspiration for many others.

Visitation will be held Today February 24, 2010 from 5PM - 8:30PM at Dalbert, Woodruff and Isenogle Funeral Home, 2880 Boudinot in Western Hills. Funeral services will begin Thursday, February 25, 2010, 11 AM at the funeral home and proceed to the Vine Street Cemetery Mausoleum.
