John D. "Jack" Sowders

John D. "Jack" Sowders was devoted husband of the late Patricia J. Sowders (nee Schmitz), loving father of Gregory A. and Peggy Sowders, Denise and Bill Glaab, dedicated grandfather of Scott, Kim and Todd Sowders, Aimee Rowling, Jennifer and Patrick Glaab, great-grandfather of Kali and C.J. Jones and Zachary Rowling, dear brother of Lawrence Sowders, Ruth Ann Hill and the late Charles Sowders and Mary Lou Hartwig. Mr. Sowders was a retiree of the William Powell Valve Company. Monday, July 14, 2003. Age 77 years. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 10:30 AM, at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1175 Overlook Avenue. Visitation Thursday from 5 to 8 PM at the Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home, 2880 Boudinot Avenue at Queen City.
