Bain, Joseph Patrick          May 4^th, 1940-December 4^th, 2014

Joseph Patrick Bain, 74, of Cincinnati, OH passed peacefully on the morning of December 4^th 2014 surrounded by family and loved ones. In his life, Joe was an avid fisherman and a lover of boats, cigars, a good walleye sandwich, and the Fighting Irish. Fond family memories include camping trips with the grandkids at East Harbor at Lake Erie, Bain Family Christmas Parties, and morning strolls with his beloved canine pal, Alfie. Joe was a family man, and will undoubtedly be leaving a familial legacy - He was the loving husband to Sandra Bain, brother to Connie Barrett, Tommy Bain, Jerry Bain, Julie Nuber and the late Richard Bain; father to Mickey Ohmer, Kathy Bain, Debbie Thoma, Bridget Bain-Grasse, Meghan Bain and Cecilia Long; step-father to Tim & Craig Wood; and beloved grandfather to Josh & Jessica Ohmer, Molly Meyer, Mac & Lily Calvert, Adam, Andrew & Abbey Thoma, Gavin & Izzy Grasse, Indigo Hall, Tucker Bain-Johnson, Bobby & Frankie Long, Brandon Wood, and  Whitney, Bryce & Blake Wood.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Joe’s life on Monday evening from 5-8p at the Dalbert, Woodruff and Isenogle Funeral Home, followed by a Mass on Tuesday at 1:15pm at St. Williams Catholic Church 4108 W 8^th St. Cincinnati, OH.
