Joseph John Wilhelm, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2025, in Cincinnati, Ohio, at the age of 84. Born on January 19, 1941, in Cincinnati. Joe dedicated over 40 years to his career at Parkway Products, where he made significant contributions and formed lasting relationships with his colleagues.
Joe was cherished by many as a devoted family man. He is survived by his beloved wife, Elaine Wilhelm, with whom he shared 55 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they nurtured a loving family that includes their daughter, Kim Scott (Paul), and their son, Kevin Wilhelm (Rachel Hrnyak). Joe's grandchildren, Aidan Scott and Adair Scott, affectionately called him "Papa Joe," and they brought immense joy to his life.
In addition to his immediate family, Joe leaves behind his brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Debbie Klocke, as well as his sister-in-law, Margie Nawalaniec. He was a treasured uncle to many, including Deb Menninger (Dave), Mary Neville, Janet Bauer (Joe), Barb Dolan (Butch), Shelly Wilson (Gary), Steve Nawalaniec (Maureen), Mike Nawalaniec, Chris Nawalaniec (Julie), Jeff Klocke, and David Klocke (Traci). Joe also held dear many cousins and friends made throughout his life, especially from St. Teresa Grade School, Elder High School, and the car clubs he enjoyed being a part of.
Joe’s education played a significant role in his life; he enjoyed spending time at Miami University with his children and grandchildren, proudly wearing his "Miami Grandpa" t-shirt, even though he attended the University of Cincinnati. Joe's devotion to his family was evident in every aspect of his life, and his warm spirit and love will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Helen Wilhelm; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tom and Eleanor Klocke; his brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Bea Wilhelm; and his brother-in-law, Jim Klocke.
