Karl G. Kieffner

KIEFFNER, Karl G., beloved husband of 74 years to Elfrieda Kieffner (nee Sendelweek), devoted father of Donna (Harvey) Meyer, loving grandfather of Scott Meyer, dear brother of Alfrieda Neukam of Jasper, IN, and the late Robert and Raymond Kieffner and Elsie Braun. Karl was born in 1905 in Haspville, IN, to Lena and Henry Kieffner. He moved to Cincinnati in 1933 where he worked in the restaurant business for forty years. He retired in 1973. Karl was the oldest member of Grace Lutheran Church, where he has been a member for 37 years. Prior to that, he was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church for 36 years. Karl passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 28, 2006, at Mercy Hospital, Western Hills Vitas Hospice Unit at the age of 99 years. Visitation Wednesday 10 AM until time of funeral service at 11 AM at the Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home, 2880 Boudinot Avenue at Queen City. Interment at Arlington Memorial Gardens, Mt. Healthy, OH. Karl will be greatly missed and remembered with very special love and memories. Memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 3628 Boudinot Avenue, Cincinnati, OH, 45211.
