Linda Sue Murray

Linda Sue Murray, 68, left this world suddenly on May 16, 2023. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

She was born to Arthur and Laverne Herbert on May 31, 1954. After graduating from high school, Linda pursued her dreams to become a nurse. Nursing was a true calling for Linda, she cared deeply for her patients. Towards the end of her career, she began working in Hospice care. Linda provided care and support to so many patients and families during her time as a nurse. She was truly one of a kind.

In 1981, Linda married her husband, James. They had a loving marriage for 41 years. In that time, they had three sons together. Linda’s children were the light of her life. She loved being a mother to her boys.

Linda loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her family. She enjoyed playing golf and bowling in her league. In her spare time, she loved to be outside by her pool or gardening. She was an animal lover and cared deeply for her dogs.

She was a devoted Christian and is now peacefully with her savior Jesus Christ.

Linda is survived by her husband, James, and three sons: James (Nikki), Paul (Kaitlyn), and Scott. Her greatest role was as grandmother to granddaughter, Chloe.

A celebration of life is scheduled for Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 2:00pm until time of sharing at 4:00pm at the Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home. The family suggest memorial donations be sent to SAAP Donate Here or American Heart Association Donate Here.
