KLUSMEYER, Marjorie (nee Steinkoenig), beloved wife of the late James C. Klusmeyer, devoted mother of Karen E. Lubke of Houston, TX, and Thomas J. (Michelle) Klusmeyer of Seattle, WA, loving grandmother of Jake and Robert Lubke and Sara and Katie Klusmeyer, dear cousin of Albert Gudberlet. Died Sunday, January 21, 2007, in Houston, TX. Age 85 years. Friends and relatives are invited to attend graveside services Saturday, 10 AM, at Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Rd., Mt. Healthy. Marjorie was a 1938 Graduate of Western Hills H.S. and class valedictorian. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor's Degree in Education and later received a Paralegal Certificate from the College of Mount St. Joseph in 1979. She was an actively-involved member and past President of Clifton Heights Neighborhood Association for 17 years; past President of Cincinnati Bar Assoc. Auxiliary, Zeta Tau Alpha social sorority Ohio Alumnae, Westwood Women's Club, Westwood PTA; an officer of Metropolitan Board of Directors of the YWCA and Cincinnati Council of PTA's; member of the Advisory Board for the Cincinnati Recreation Commission and the Resource Committee for the Cincinnati Police; and member of Board of Trustees for the Clifton Senior Center and Invest in Neighborhoods. Marjorie was also past chairman and a committed participant in the City of Cincinnati Green Up Days. Prior to her lengthy volunteer career, Marjorie was a teacher in the Cincinnati Public Schools, a paralegal for Cohen, Todd, Kyte and Stanford and manager of the Theater Guild for the Schubert Theatre. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Westwood First Presbyterian Church where Marjorie had been a life-member, Shriners Hospitals for Children, or the American Cancer Society.
