Melrose Clara Childs (nee Long) was beloved wife of the late William Bradley Childs, loving mother of Donald W. Childs and the late James F. Childs, dear mother-in-law of Linda Childs, grandmother of Sandy Gay, Stephen, Michael and Jeff Childs and five great-grandchildren. Thursday, June 12, 2003. Age 80 years. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, 10 AM, at St. William Church. Visitation Wednesday, 8:30 to 9:30 AM, at the Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home, 2880 Boudinot Avenue at Queen City.
