Nicholas Raptes

RAPTES, Nicholas J., beloved husband of the late Marie Raptes (nee Thomas), father, grandfather and great-grandfather, died peacefully in the arms of our Lord on Thursday, April 26, 2007, at the age of 82 years in Cincinnati. Nick was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 19, 1925, and married the love of his life Marie in 1948. Nick was the son of the late James and Anna Raptes and a devoted father to James (Jo Ann) Raptes, Anna (George) Bikas, Peggy (Wayne) Leslie, Eleni (Bob) Liston and Stephanie (Joe) Polen, cherished grandfather of Ann-Marie, Helen-Marie, Michael, Stacey, Renee, Emily, Nicholas, Eftehea, Maria, Chrysann, Constance, Amanda, Robbie, Lisa, Joey and Zoe, great-grandfather of Olivia, Electra, James, Hailey and Ryan. Visitation Sunday, 4 to 8 PM at the Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home, 2880 Boudinot Ave. and Queen City Ave. Funeral Service 11 AM Monday at Holy Trinity-St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.
