Noemi Lubbers

Noemi Lubbers went home to be with the Lord on July 7, 2022.  She was 81. 

Loving wife of Ronald Lubbers.  Devoted mother of Annette (Cecil) Fielders, Michelle (Darius) Phillips, Yvonne (Jim Brauning) Kailholz, Denise (Brian) Sebastian and daughter in law Kim Lubbers.  Preceded in death by her son Ronald Lubbers and grandson Patrick Hennessey III.  Cherished grandmother of Andy (Kasey) Fielders, Natalie (Tyler) Mudd, Craig Phelps, David Phelps, Sean Murphy, Devin Murphy, Stefanie Reynolds, Emily Kailholz, Steven Kailholz, Lauren Ronan, Rachel Sebastian, Nicholas Sebastian and Barbara Lubbers. Adored great grandmother of Trent, Knox, Kherington, Ezra, Sadie, Cameron, Lily, Brooklyn, Michael, Patrick and Leo.  Dear sister of Loredana Fey, John (Jan) Leonardi, Maria (Joe) Burr and Tony Leonardi.

Noemi was born in Italy and moved to Cincinnati when she was a little girl. She was a terrific cook and enjoyed spending time with her family.  She was a devoted Catholic and spent many years working for local parishes as a cook and in bereavement planning.  She will be fondly remembered for opening her home to her children’s friends; making sure they always had a safe place to stay and food to eat.

Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday July 12^th from 9 am until time of Mass at 10 am, all at St. Dominic Church 4551 Delhi Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45238.  She will be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.  A continued celebration of her life will take place after mass in the undercroft of the church.
