Otto Elliot William, of Cheviot, born on September 28, 1919 to Albert and May Schmidt, died October 24, 2012 in Cincinnati at the age of 93. Veteran of WWII where he served in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater. Survived by his wife of 70 years, Georgia Schmidt (nee Metcalf), his four children - Stanley (Joyce), Dennis, Christina (Alan), and Kathryn (Robert); six grandchildren - Jennifer (Joseph), Matthew (Chrystal), Victoria (Daniel), Valerie, Christopher, and Daniel; three great-grandchildren - Chandler, Lauren, and Owen, and myriad other family and friends whose lives he enriched just by being who he was. He never thought something couldn't be done, and he always encouraged us to reach for our dreams and be who we are. He made us better for having known him, and his loss is deeply felt by all who knew him. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 27th from 12.30pm-2.30pm at Dalbert, Woodruff, and Isenogle Funeral Home, 2880 Boudinot Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45238 with a Funeral Service at 2.30 PM followed by his interment at Spring Grove Cemetery.
