Robert E., survived by his loving wife Barbara A. Jacobsen (nee Koeppe) of 49years. Beloved father of Mona Jacobsen, Robert E. Jacobsen II, Estelle (Mike) Vonderahe, Carl Jacobsen and Diane (Jay) Witt. Cherished grandfather of Stephen & Crysta Preuss, Josh, Cassie & Shaquille Jacobsen, Jessica & Alyssa Witt and Evan & Maggie Vonderahe and great grandfather of Aaliyah and Ayden. Robert was born in Muskegon Michigan and moved to Cincinnati in 1960 where he worked as a civil engineer until he retired in 1994. He died Friday August 19, 2011 at the age of 79. Visitation Wednesday Aug 24 from 6-8 PM and Funeral Service Thursday 11 AM at the Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home 2880 Boudinot at Queen City Avenue. www.dwifuneralhome.com
