Robert E. Mitchel

MITCHEL, Robert E., beloved husband of the late Norma Mitchel (nee Wright), son of the late Alfred and Mary Mitchel, brother of Jack A. Mitchel of Asheville, NC, Betty Healy of Alexandria, VA, and the late Harold Mitchel and the late Emily Schwartz, brother-in-law of Jack and Gale Wright, also survived by many very close nieces, nephews and in-laws. Wednesday, November 13, 2002. Age 80 years. Bob spent the last eight months under the care of Madeira Healthcare Center. Veteran of WW II Air force Gunner stationed out of Italy. Graduate of the University of Cincinnati and devoted "C" Club Member where he had many dear friends. Dear neighbor of the Lutz and the Krummen Families. Active with late wife in Animal Shelters. They had a special affection for their cats. Former longtime manager of Sunlite Pool and Old Coney. He loved doing things for other people, especially the sick. Memorial service Thursday, 7 PM, at the Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home, 2880 Boudinot Avenue at Queen City. Visitation Thursday from 5 PM until time of service. Private interment service for the family at St. Joseph New Cemetery on Friday. Memorials may be made to Animal Rescue Fund, 85 Lucy Run, Amelia, OH, 45102.
