Robert "Bob" John Muckenfuss

Robert John Muckenfuss, "Bob", was born on September 30, 1939, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He passed away at home on November 26, 2024, leaving behind family and friends who loved him.  

Bob embarked on his educational pursuits at the University of Cincinnati, while working at the Cincinnati Gasket Company which laid the foundation for a successful career. He began as an independent manufacturer's sales representative, subsequently establishing Muckenfuss Rubber Parts, a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit. As time progressed, Bob transitioned into a fulfilling role as a licensed insurance agent for Allstate through the Robinette Insurance Agency. He also started SVP Productions videography during this time and continued this business after retiring.

Throughout his life, Bob treasured the moments spent with family and friends. He delighted in social activities, from special events to cherished family dinners and lunches with "the Guys." His passion for music was evident in his decades-long admiration for the band Showcase and more recently, Gen-X.  Earlier in life, he organized multiple "Affair Dances" and sponsored and played on the MRP softball team in the 70’s and 80’s.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Cheryl K. Muckenfuss; his beloved daughters Dionne L. Muckenfuss and Emily (Duane) McDonald; his loving sons David Shaw and Jonathan Shaw; his sister, Carol A. Lanning; his grandsons, Chad Huhn, Robby Buckman, and Devon McDonald; his granddaughters, Alisha Noble and Taylor McDonald; as well as his great grandsons, Tanner and Declan Noble. Bob will be deeply missed by family and friends that knew and loved him.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence C. Muckenfuss and Matilda E. Muckenfuss (nee Schroder).

Visitation for Bob will take place on December 6, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home, located at 2880 Boudinot Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45238. The funeral service will follow the visitation, commencing at 1:00 PM. His interment will take place at Bridgetown Cemetery at 1:45 PM on the same day, located at 4337 Harrison Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45211.
