Ruth M. Holthaus

Ruth Mary Duebber Gerdes Holthaus, passed peacefully at the age of 99, just a month shy of her 100^th birthday.  She is the loving mother of Barbara (the late Donald Jr.) Phillips and the late Kathleen (Jim) Gilstrap.  She is the adored grandmother of Kevin (Kim) Phillips, Julie (Tony) Bender, Jason (Laura) Phillips, Joseph (Larissa) Phillips and Candice (Dan) Beck.  Dear great-grandmother of Joshua (Megan) Phillips, Tyler Allgeyer, Mac Phillips, Colton Phillips, Cadence Phillips, Cohen Phillips, Brianna Bender, Madison Bender and Addyson Beck.  Devoted sister of the late Don (Margaret) Duebber and the late Bob (the late Patti) Duebber and several nieces and nephews.

Ruth was a graduate of Western Hills High School in 1942 and a 15 year resident at West Park. Ruth’s message to everyone who knew her was: ” Don’t cry over me for I have had a good life and I’m looking forward to joining those I love in Heaven.”

Family and friends are invited to a visitation Monday November 6^th from 11 am until time of funeral service at 1 pm, all at the Dalbert Woodruff and Isenogle Funeral Home 2880 Boudinot Avenue Cincinnati, Ohio 45238.  She will be laid to rest at St. Joseph New Cemetery.
