Sophia "Betty" (nee Pete), resident of Batavia, but formerly of Green Twp, loving wife of the late Frank P. Handra, dear sister-in-law of Steve and John Handra, also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Pete. Betty was a bookkeeper for Sarah Lee. She enjoyed playing cards and collecting oriental art. She also loved her dog Thor. Saturday, November 13, 2010, at Clermont Mercy Hospital. Age 86 years. Memorial Mass Tuesday (12-21) at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Batavia. Interment at Arlington Memorial Gardens. If desired, memorials may be made to Clermont County Needy Kids Christmas Program, c/o AL Charities PO Box 763, Batavia, OH, 45103.
