Stanley W. Lindley

Stanley William Lindley, 69, went home early Wednesday morning to be with the Lord after having his nearest and dearest family and friends rally around him through his short, but hard fought battle with liver cancer. Resting peacefully after hearing family remember “Good Times” we’ve had throughout the years.

He was a devoted and loving “Daddie” to his Golden Child Britni (William) Lawson and husband of 25 years to Dolly Lindley. Treasured uncle to Amanda (Frank) Stewart, Rebecca, Tori, Jamie, Danny (Meria) Smed, Derek (Lisa) Smed, George Jr., Laurie, Beverly, Kristi, Barbara and Donald Backer , Ted and Joe Macejko, and many great nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents & brother Eugene Lindley, best friend and brother in law Dan Smed, “little” sister in law Linda Bobb and sister in law Sharon Calender.

Though he sold insurance for 30 years, he loved working on projects around the house or on the boat with his best friends Ted Macejko III and the late Jim Turner. He loved the Lord until his last breath, had a passion for helping those in need, loved fishing and of course loved his football – GO PACK! / WHO DEY!  He was a true example of a man’s man and a child of God… Always Missed Never Forgotten.

Visitation Saturday September 7, 2019 from 10 AM to 12 PM, followed by a 12 PM Funeral Service at the Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home.
