Thelma Young

Thelma Young, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away April 7th, 2009, peacefully from the arms of her loving family to the loving arms of her lord. Born May 10th, 1931 in Cincinnati, OH, to the late Richard and Ruth Manning. Devoted wife of the late Carl Young. Loving mother of Joan (Rufus) Taylor, Elaine Pennington, Sharon Young, and Ron (Diane) Young. Cherished grandmother of Francis, Julie, Laura, Jay, Joanne, Andrew, Peter, Robin, Trisha, Nicholas, Erin, Adam (AJ), Jamie and 27 great grandchildren, sister of Arlene (Bill) Green and Shirley Manning.

Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road,
To sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
But never meant to stay...
Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know.
For some the journey's quicker,
For some the journey's slow.
