Thomas C. Thayer

Thomas C. Thayer, age 96 passed away peacefully on February 19, 2022, surrounded by loved ones.  The son of Ralph and Emma Perry Thayer of Norwood, Ohio, Tom was the longest living member of the Thayer family.  Tom's ancestor, Silvanus Thayer was the father of the United States Military Academy at West Point and Tom himself served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946 in the European Theater.  Tom is survived by his loving Central Parkway Church of God and Bridge of Hope church families.  Tom was in banking for 23 years at the 1st National Bank and was thereafter an office manager for the A-1 Appliance Service Center.  He was a faithful member of the Central Parkway Church of God for over 60 years and volunteered at his beloved church for 30 years overseeing the daily upkeep of the Lord's house.

A visitation will be held Tuesday February 22, from 11 am until time of funeral service at 12 Noon, all at the Dalbert Woodruff and Isenogle Funeral Home 2880 Boudinot Avenue Cincinnati, Ohio 45238.  He will be laid to rest at Spring Grove Cemetery on Thursday, February 24 at 12:45.
