Timothy F. Higgins

HIGGINS, Timothy F., beloved husband of Myrla Higgins, devoted father of Byon Higgins, loving son of Jim and Libby Higgins, dear brother of Jim Higgins and the late David S. Higgins, uncle of Mark Higgins, son-in-law of Dolores A. Bermas, brother-in-law of Leila Chaffee, Mauro and Mares Bermas, Morel Bermas and Leilanie Bermas, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Tim and family recently moved to Morehead, KY. He graduated from Walnut Hills High School and University of Cincinnati and Webber State University in Utah. He started his own building renovation and rehab business and in the course of working, inspired, mentored and trained many young people who later became skilled workers and business owners. He was a dedicated father to Byon and worked with him in the Boy Scouts and school events and was so proud of him. Myrla and Tim have a very large extended Filipino family. Tim had the ability to make friends with everyone and was loved by all. He will be greatly missed by many dear friends. He always lent a helping hand to whoever was in need - famiy, friends and strangers. Monday, November 13, 2006, his life was tragically taken by a car accident at the age of 49. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, 10:30 AM, at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1175 Overlook Avenue, with a reception to follow. Memorial Service Saturday, 12 noon, at Church of The Advent, 2366 Kemper Ln., with a reception following.
