WEHMEIER, Virginia (nee Drott), born November 7, 1914 died March 17, 2006. Age 91 Years. Wife of the late Elmer L. Wehmeier who passed in 2001, mother of Ronald F. Wehmeier, sister of the late Walter Drott and the late Delores Kolhoff. Virginia loved her family, their 1875 homestead, yard and flowers. She defined the term hard worker, working in a Price Hill produce store as a young person, then starting as a sales girl at the John Shillito Co. downtown. She advanced her way up through the executive development program, and became sales manager of most of the third floor, receiving many merchant of the month awards. After a well deserved retirement in 1980, she enjoyed traveling with Elmer and naturally working in the house, yard and cooking. Virginia was 100% honest and told things exactly as they were. Gifted to speak with anyone and win their respect as a down to earth person. As the greatest "Mom" she was always supportive of Ron in his many ventures.
