William "Bill" F. II , beloved husband of the late Rita D. Galle (nee Dewald) for 61 years, devoted father of Donna J. (Doug) Hammond, Sandy (Mark) Johnson, and Linda Galle, loving grandfather of Brent Hammond and Lauren Hammond, dear brother of Jean Trittschuh. Passed away peacefully on October 15, surrounded by family at the age of 85. Bill retired from Cincinnati Bell and was active in many civic and community organizations. He was a proud member of the United States Navy where he served during WWII. A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at 3:30 PM at the Northminster Presbyterian Church, 703 Compton Rd., 45231. A private burial will be held at Spring Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Cincinnati. Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home serving the family.
