William J. Gavin

Beloved husband for 62 years to Joy (nee Haskamp) Gavin. Devoted father of Lynn (Tom) Wehner, Keith (Kim), Steve (Bev), and Greg (Carrie) Gavin. Loving grandfather of Kristie (Chris) Cahill, Tim (Kelly) Gavin, Matt, David, Samuel Wehner, Samantha, Brent, Julia, Rylie, Luke, Sydney, Will, McKenna, Brooke, Alyse and Madi Gavin. Great-grandfather to Clara, Tate, and Kate. Preceeded in death by his parents, William J. Sr. and Marian (nee Ohmer) Gavin.

Bill was a 1954 graduate of St. Xavier High School and a 1958 graduate of Xavier University. Bill was an Executive Vice President of DuBois Chemicals for 35 years. Upon his retirement, Bill enjoyed traveling, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends.

Bill passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023, he was 87 years old.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at 10 am at Our Lady of Victory Church, 810 Neeb Rd Cincinnati, OH 45233.

Immediately following the Mass, there will be a celebration of life at the Our Lady of Victory Convocation Center.
