William L. Uphus was beloved husband of the late Rita C. Uphus (nee Holtgrewe), devoted father of Gary (Diane), Steve (Doni), Bob (Bev) Uphus, Diane (Mike) Mers-Kelly and Cyndi (Jamie) Hernandez, loving grandfather of fifteen grandchidlren and four great-grandchildren and dear brother of the late Ruth Cook and Richard Uphus. Saturday, April 10, 2004. Age 81 years. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 10:30 AM, at St. James Church, White Oak. Visitation Friday morning from 9 to 10 AM at the Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home, 2880 Boudinot Avenue at Queen City.
